I’m Nicolas Munley
I’m not a design “rockstar” “guru” or “ninja”, I’m simply a Product/UX designer with the skills to help you achieve your business goals.
I experienced a significant turning point in my career when I joined Google's self-driving car project in 2013. As a member of the operations team, I had the privilege to collaborate closely with UX researchers and design professionals at Google. This exposure provided me with valuable insights and occasionally allowed me to take on essential responsibilities in organizing and conducting user studies. These tasks encompassed setting up testing environments, contributing to the development of user testing scripts, and overseeing the entire study process.
The exposure to administering and participating in user studies at Google sparked my passion for the field of UX and Product design. While I continued my work in the self-driving vehicle industry at Ottomotto LLC and Uber ATG, I actively pursued opportunities to develop my design skills on the side.
Having worked at esteemed companies such as Google, Amazon, and Uber, as well as smaller startups, I have become skilled at adapting to diverse working styles. These experiences have taught me the significance of striking a balance between data-driven functionality, visual design, and making calculated compromises to propel projects forward. I am committed to continuously learning and refining my skills in these areas.
I bring a unique blend of practical experience, hands-on involvement in user studies, and the ability to navigate various work environments. I am excited to leverage my expertise and contribute to a team that values user-centric design and embraces the challenges of creating impactful and successful products.
